# A Miro alternative for Slack teams: one flat price instead of per-seat boards

Miro is an excellent whiteboard. But many engineering teams use it for one narrow job: drawing the architecture or flow that was just agreed in a Slack thread. For that job you pay per seat, and editing from Slack needs Slackbot on a higher Slack plan.

- **Edit in the thread:** anyone replies `@arialine add a fraud check before payment`; no account or seat needed.
- **History:** every change is a version with Undo, Rewind, Branch and a link to the message that asked for it.
- **Share anywhere:** PNG, interactive HTML, SVG, `.mmd` and PDF reports.

## What you give up

Freeform canvas, sticky notes, workshop templates and dragging shapes by hand. Arialine diagrams are Mermaid: great for systems and flows, not for brainstorming walls. Many teams keep one Miro seat for the facilitator and move technical diagrams to Arialine.
